Paint Shop

Surface Treatment and Coating Technologies

At Arpar Korkmaz Otomotiv, we are aware that surface quality is the most critical factor determining the service life of the rubber-metal composite parts and sheet metal components we manufacture. In our in-house industrial paint shop, we apply gray and black coatings in accordance with international standards. To stabilize the surface tensions inherent in metal and its micron-level components, we apply proprietary, controlled surface activation and preparation processes prior to painting. Thanks to this specialized infrastructure—which ensures a flawless molecular-level bond between metal and rubber and is fully compatible with the high-temperature vulcanization (curing) stage— we produce products with maximum corrosion resistance, free from the risk of peeling or delamination, and characterized by long-lasting durability and high strength.

Dough Room

Advanced Mixing Technology and Dough Mixing Plant

The foundation of a high-quality rubber-to-metal component is laid through the proper steps taken in the compounding plant. At Arpar Korkmaz Otomotiv, we prepare the rubber compounds used in our production with the utmost precision at our in-house, state-of-the-art compounding plant. To meet the technical specifications required by different operating environments, temperatures, and dynamic loads, we develop custom rubber formulations for each project. We manage all weighing and mixing processes—from raw material acceptance to polymer processing—using consistent parameters. Thanks to the high-quality rubber compounds we produce entirely with our own in-house know-how, we lay the foundation for products that offer high resistance to aging, a perfect balance of flexibility, and the highest level of durability under demanding field conditions—all under our own roof.

Vulcanization

Flawless Connection, Maximum Lifespan

The vulcanization process, in which rubber and metal become an inseparable whole, is the result of Arpar Korkmaz Otomotiv’s more than 20 years of production experience and technological infrastructure. Thanks to the controlled curing techniques we apply on our state-of-the-art hydraulic press lines, we maintain the optimal balance between the material’s flexibility and hardness. By managing the high pressure and temperature parameters under the press entirely through our own proprietary know-how, we deliver top-quality products with zero risk of separation and maximum impact resistance and damping capacity.

Installation

Precision Assembly and Integration

Our high-quality components, which are shaped through processes ranging from the dough-making stage to vulcanization and surface treatments, are assembled into a single unit on our assembly line. At Arpar Korkmaz Otomotiv, we view the assembly process as the most critical validation stage before the product demonstrates its final performance. We use controlled assembly techniques and specialized fixtures—developed entirely in-house—to ensure the flawless integration of different material groups and metal components. Thanks to our assembly infrastructure—which fully complies with industry tolerances and maintains micron-level sealing and positioning accuracy—we provide our customers with final products that are ready for direct shipment to the assembly line, time-tested, and highly reliable.

Quality

Strict Quality and Control Processes in Production

At Arpar Korkmaz Otomotiv, we know that the success of the rubber and rubber-metal composite parts we manufacture depends on consistent quality. To this end, we monitor every stage of production—from the first mixture coming out of the mixing plant to the final assembled product—using our precision measuring instruments. We verify the flexibility and resistance that rubber must exhibit under dynamic loads in real time through on-site Shore hardness tests. By meticulously measuring the hardness (Shore A/D) values required by international standards on our production lines, we ensure that our products perform at their full potential both on the vehicle and in the field. Thanks to our quality philosophy, supported by technical inspections and dimensional measurements, we consistently deliver reliable solutions to the market with a zero-defect goal.
